A multichannel approach ensures that we capture attention through all potential mediums that our constituents may prefer or where they are most likely to find us. In 2021, a DataAxle survey of 1,200 charitable donors across a wide variety of age groups confirmed that multichannel communication is more important than ever before. Nearly half of survey respondents indicated that email is the most preferred method of communication, more than 20% preferred direct mail, 10% preferred phone and 17% preferred social media.
